Finally I have some down time to post Dragon*Con thoughts. From the moment I got home it's been class, work, class, work. Not even time for homework! D:

This was my third Dragon*Con, and easily was the best one. New friends, lots of celebrities, new SUIT, and much more. I think I balanced out suiting and non-suiting well this year. I spent some time in 'face-costumes' (aka cosplaying as a person) this year. I enjoyed it thoroughly, not only because it was OMG not nearly as hot... but also you can talk to people, use your face for expressions (which I do in suit anyways. Durr.) and you can easily costume longer. I was in my usual X-Men costume, and this year I tried out being a JEDI.
Some of you read my last post in which I was craving a new fandom. I believe I have found it. Not only are Star Wars costumes fun and easy to obtain for cheap, but with new games/movies/and TV series on the horizon... it's still a living and breathing fandom. I even wound up buying a Master Replica lightsaber for fairly cheap.
SO THE CON. Right. I met the main dude from BSG, the cheerleader from Heroes, Sean Astin (Samwise Gamgee) from Lord of the Rings, and I saw countless others. ADAM WEST, the kid Anakin from Episode I, James Hong... the list goes on. That's the best part of D*C, how accessible the celebrities are. My roomies were awesome. Shoutouts to
blaez,
zelldragon,
fauxpawroo,
colley,
crssafox & co, and Brian!
In panel news... Of course, as usual, I saw Danger Woman. That bitch is NUTS. I love it. I saw some pompous guy (in a panel supposed to be a lively discussion among everyone) tell his opinions about animation and not let anyone else speak, and I saw a nice panel by Sean Astin about his experiences working on LotR.
Also, I suited my new suits Dodger and Tartuffe!

Glad you had fun. I would LOVE to go to one of these. I would get a Battle Royale group together XD
Is that the green Luke lightsaber?
question: does the trunk not get in the way of vision a bit?
I'm finding myself looking out of the one eye on my new one, as I have pretty limited vision if I try and look out of both! Means I have to think about where the head's looking and not where I'm looking :P
HOLY SHIT COOKIE MONSTER.
I see you had a great time!
If I ever get to go to DC I will have to go as Darth Pepto (the pink sith) It's a running joke that a friend of mine and I had years ago...oh good times.
Tarteeee looks adorable!! Glad to see you had fun!
Tartuffe as a Jedi is a win!!

He is supposed to be a teenager, so hence the younger look. But nooo to being a baby. I don't see it at all.
